Cristina was born in Rome in 1983. After graduation at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia, she began working in the photographic field as an assistant, specializing in images postproduction, collaborated since 2004 with Paolo Pellegrin, member of the agency Magnum Photos.
Since April 2006 she has been working on the long term project Memory of the Civil War in Spain. The first chapter, “Exilio de Dentro”, has been exhibited at Confluences, Paris, in 2009.
She won the Winephoto Contest (2007) and the Enzo Baldoni International Award (2009).
In 2008 she took part to the Reflexions Masterclass curated by Giorgia Fiorio.
Her works were exhibited in Paris, Rome, Pescara, and at WinePhoto Festival, and appeared on Times, Le Monde, Newsweek Japan, Newsweek US, Newsweek Russia, Paris Match, Diario, Io Donna, D della Repubblica, L’Espresso, Gioia.
She joined prospekt in 2006, she lives in Rome.
