Born in 1985, she graduated highschool in Literature and Arts. After attending a 5 years program in the Parisian Fine Arts school l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, she graduated in 2010 with the highest mention (Félicitations du Jury) with her work on Beirut, Breaches.
She focuses on daily life and youth, travelling between the Middle East and Europe: “I take photos as a means of understanding myself and my environments, rather then inventing or capturing something that is alien to me. I don’t like the feeling of being a stranger to things. I like to think of how my position as a photographer provokes what I photograph, of the connection between me and my subjects. Empathy is my greatest instrument and I would be blind without it.”
She is now based in Paris.
