What’s the current biggest enemy for a photo journalist?
If we speak of photojournalism itself, I think that its worst enemy is the market. The general economic crisis muddled publishers out, moreover if we consider that they haven’t yet found a way to profit out of the web, nor a possible reaction to stop the drop-out of readers. Cuts of expenses involved, among other balance items, the budget for photography, an item easy to be cut considering that they have been reducing it since 20 years.
