Men’s Club, Århus – Denmark
They are men with a capital M – and they do nothing to hide it. Still, they form a secret tribe; a brotherhood. Chris from the US, Anton from Holland, Kent from Norway, Laurence from England, Michael from Denmark and the rest of those, who frequent Men’s Club. They are like-minded homosexuals, who have chosen to emphasize and live out their sexuality in a place, where no one else can see them. The rules are simple. There is no room for white shirts or knife-edge creases. Even jeans are banned. But discretion is a matter of course. By wearing leather or uniform they send an unambiguous signal about masculinity, about strength and about solidarity. But it is more than that. It is about the freedom to be who you are.
