Tony Gentile, sicilian fotoreporter, started his work in Palermo in 1989, the city where he was born in 1964, collaborating with a local newspaper and at the same time with the photojournalistic agency Sintesi in Rome. Thanks to Sintesi he published photographs in the most important Italian and foreign newspapers and magazines. In 1992 he became correspondent from Sicily of the international news agency Reuters for which from 2003 to 2019 he worked as a staff-photographer based in Rome.
