Mads Greve was born in Denmark in 1967. He is a photographer and associate professor in photojournalism at the Danish School of Media and Journalism (Danmarks Medie-og Journalist-højskole). Since 2005 Mads has been a member of Prospekt Photographers in Milan, Italy.
Mads Greve has worked as a staff photographer at Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten, the largest daily newspaper in Denmark, and as a freelance photographer with assignments for the major Danish newspapers.
He was a member of the jury for the 2010/2011 Danish Picture of the Year contest.
He won the 1st prize International News Stories, Danish Picture of the Year 2006, and the 1st prize Feature Stories, Danish Picture of the Year 1995.
His book: “Man kan ikke engang græde” (You Can’t Even Cry/) About the Danish Jews that were sent of to the concentration camp Theresienstadt in the Czech Republic is published by Ajour, 2008.
Today he works with photographic projects in addition to his teaching.
Mads lives in Århus, Denmark, with his children.
