Corinna Sauer was born in 1980 and grew up in a rather small town close to Hannover, Germany. Having been interested in photography since a very early age, she entered the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover in 2007 to study photojournalism, after travelling the world for a while. From 2010 till June 2011 she attended a one-year international semester program at the Danish school of Media and Journalism in Århus, Denmark and in july 2012 she received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hannover.
Alongside her studies, she kept working on extended personal projects.
Corinna’s work has been exhibited e.g. at the Visa Off in Perpignan, during the Fotodoks Festival in Munich, in the course of the Carnem events in La Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan and on a regular basis in Berlin, where she currently lives and works.
